v0.3.1July 2026 · current
New brand identity
- New logo — a price-tag mark (a white tag with a “$” on a dark badge) now appears across the Chrome toolbar icon, the extension popup, and this website.
v0.3.0July 2026
AI assistant, competitor Compare, calendar scan & week-at-a-time apply
- Live on the Chrome Web Store — Turo Host Pricing Lab is now published and installs in one click. Add to Chrome →
- Renamed to Turo Host Pricing Lab — the extension now ships under its full name (the “BETA” tag is gone), with a refreshed popup UI.
- AI pricing assistant PRO — ask questions about your own pricing, calendar, and captured competitor listings. When you submit a question, the extension sends it plus the context you chose to capture to our proxy server (hosted on Vercel), which relays it to Anthropic's Claude API to answer. This is the only feature that sends data off your device, it happens only when you ask, and it's bounded by hard per-user and global monthly spend caps — never sold, never used for ads.
- Competitor Compare PRO — opens a pre-filled Turo search in a new browser tab and reads the visible results to compute a local market median and your rank. It stays in the browser and only contacts Turo itself.
- Popup redesign — a cleaner layout that ties the scan, guardrail, Compare, and assistant together.
- Server-side subscription verification — Pro access is now confirmed server-side by matching your subscriber email against Stripe (billing still runs through ExtensionPay on Stripe).
- Calendar scan — open the popup on your Turo host calendar to read every upcoming day at once: price, who set it (you vs. Turo dynamic), and booked status. PRO adds a per-day floor check that flags every open day dipping below your weekday/weekend/holiday floor.
- Apply next 7 days — preview every change across an adjustable 2–7 day window in one card, then apply the whole week in a single approved step. The extension drives Turo's own multi-select calendar editor for you — you never retype a number, and nothing saves until you click Apply. Booked and already-on-target days are skipped and counted; switches from Turo dynamic pricing to a fixed price are flagged before you commit.
- Guided single apply — fill one approved price into your calendar through an on-page confirmation card: the target field is highlighted, current → new value is shown, a wrong-vehicle warning fires when the page can't be confirmed, and nothing is saved until you click Apply. Results are verified and logged locally.
- Host earnings estimate — enter your earnings-plan share and see your estimated take on every captured quote and every suggestion.
- Holiday-aware day typing — trip dates auto-classify as weekday, weekend, or holiday (US federal holidays plus peak-travel days), with the source shown.
- Day-type sweep — every calculation shows all three day-type prices at once, floor-bound ones marked.
- One-click baseline — “Use $X as Dynamic price baseline” moves the captured average into the calculator and recalculates.
- Price-change watch PRO — re-capturing a listing shows how its daily average moved since your earlier snapshot, preferring same-trip-dates comparisons.
- Billing fixes — instant Pro unlock after checkout (ExtPay content script registered); a billing-library setup failure can no longer break the popup.
v0.2.0July 2026
Pro tier & assisted apply
- Free/Pro entitlement layer with ExtensionPay billing (Stripe-backed): gated JSON/CSV export, full 250-snapshot history, floor-breach alerts, and event floor presets.
- Assisted apply: copy the suggested price and open the listing in one step.
- Plan bar with Upgrade/Manage; lapsed subscriptions never delete stored data.
v0.1.0July 2026
Initial beta
- Read-only capture of the visible Turo quote (vehicle, dates, totals, mileage terms) with observed/derived/missing provenance on every field.
- “Dynamic Pricing + X%” guardrail with weekday/weekend/holiday floors and a plain-English rationale for every suggestion.
- Local snapshot history with deduplication; JSON export.
- Vehicle identification across ~40 makes with honest null fallback.
